What Makes Calgary A Great Place To Live In

It’s not every day that you get to live in a place where everything, as we know it, is built on top of fascinating foothills and gorgeous grasslands. It’s also not every day that you get to live in where, anything, as we know it, can be built on top of heavenly hills and picturesque prairies.

Calgary, Alberta’s largest city and Canada’s third-largest city, is a perfect representation of those mentioned above. From oil developments to scientific advancements, Calgary is here to conquer the world with its knowledge on all things environmental and technological. From sports competitions to visitor attractions, Calgary is also here to conquer the world with its skills on all things athletic and touristic.

That being said, it’s not surprising anymore for people to consider this metropolitan a great place to live in.

Even more so, Calgary is:

Rich In History

This Canadian province in Alberta is not just known for its scenic views.

It’s also known for its rich history when it comes to people, which goes way back into the late 1700s – during the time when renowned cartographer David Thompson spent winter with a group of Peigans, one of the earliest indigenous groups in Canada. It’s even known for its rich history when it comes to identity, which goes way back into the nation of Scotland – during the time when Calgary itself was named after an area with the same name on the Isle of Mull, one of the earliest Viking signs in Canada.

Vibrant In Culture

This Canadian province in Alberta is also not just known for its rich history.

It’s also known for its vibrant culture when it comes to art, with no shortage of places to go such as the Arts Commons and the Esker Foundation. There are also well-known establishments like the Calgary Theatre, as well as events like the Calgary Performing Arts Festival and the Calgary International Film Festival. It’s even known for its vibrant culture when it comes to music, with no shortage of things to do such as piano concerting and ballet dancing. There are also well-known establishments like the Calgary Jube, as well as events like the Calgary Folk Music Festival and the Calgary International Reggae Festival.

And oh, let’s not forget about the world famous Calgary Stampede – a rodeo and exhibition festival held every July of the year.

Life In Calgary: Making Your Day With Good Coffee

Life In Calgary: Making Your Day With Good Coffee

coffee

We all know how coffee is, especially as it keeps our bodies healthier with some of the world’s most effective anti-inflammatory properties. We also know how coffee is, especially as it keeps our brains fitter with some of the world’s most effective antioxidant properties.

But you know what? Coffee is more than just its own set of health benefits.

Coffee is also more than just its own set of fitness benefits. Most of all, coffee is more than just a great way to make your day – that is, whenever you have one in the largest metropolis of Canada’s westernmost province.

You see, Canada’s third-largest municipality is not just an epitome of modern growth with its oil resources. You also see, Alberta’s largest city is not just an epitome of continuous growth with its tall skyscrapers.

Calgary, which is best known for its surrounding hills, is also best known for its rich history that goes back into the last Ice Age period some 12,000 years ago. Calgary, which is also best known for its surrounding plains, is even best known for its vibrant culture that goes back into the nomadic hunting people some 10,000 years ago.

But wait, that’s not all…

Alberta’s Heart of the New West is best known for making anyone’s day with good coffee, too – such as that from probably its best coffee dealer: Fratello Coffee Roasters.

Located in 4021 9th Street SE with five merchandise places all over Calgary, which includes Analog Coffee in 740 17th Avenue SW, Fratello Coffee is an epitome of both yesterday and today. With over 30 years in the ever-growing coffee business, Fratello makes every inch of their strength worthwhile – not just by providing quality coffee, but also naturally grown coffee and handily grown coffee.

Indeed, coffee is more than just its own set of health benefits. And indeed, coffee is also more than just its own set of fitness benefits. Even more so, coffee is more than just a great way to make your day – that is, whenever you have a good cup of it here…

…in Stampede City, where the Calgary Stampede is also held every year.
