Crime Prevention Week May 12 - 16, 2008
This is an opportunity for members to renew their commitment to crime prevention by promoting Block Watch membership. For those of you who are interested in becoming a member, you can register by clicking on the red "Join Us" on our home page.
Upcoming City-Wide Block Watch Feedback Series
These meetings are for the purpose of working together with the community to determine what works and what does not within their existing programs. Block Watch Presidents are invited to attend.
The North Calgary Meeting will be on May 13, 2008 at the Coventry Hills Superstore Community Room from 7 - 9 p.m.
The South Calgary Meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 28, 2008. More details will follow - stay tuned.

Calgary Block Watch Council Annual General Meeting 2008:
This event will be held on Thursday, October 16th, 2008
at 6:45 p.m. in the Pekisko Room of the McDougall Centre,
455 - 6th Street S.W. Calgary.
Program Presidents, please mark your calendars now for this event! Formal invitations will be sent out with further details as the date approaches. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
Calgary Block Watch Council Casino Fundraiser:
This event is a very important event for us in terms of raising funds to keep us operating throughout the year. If you are willing to volunteer some of your time to work at this event on one of the two dates, please contact the office at 509-2565.
This event will be held on November 26th and 27th, 2008 at the Elbow Casino.
